Taisei was primarily a painter but he also drew designs for prints (i.e., lithograph and woodblock). The subject of more than ten of these prints was flowers and (or) birds. Ten examples are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Taisei used a true-to-life drawing style so it was not difficult to identify the flowers and birds which he chose to depict.
